Brad Jenkins, President and CEO
Brad brings more than 18 years of strong leadership roles in the areas of sales, marketing, and executive management to Trial Solutions. Brad's process oriented business approach is key to successfully driving the strategic direction of Trial Solutions and building a customer focused company. His leadership and direction on assembling an experienced team, delivering powerful technology solutions and defining operational processes has proven to be instrumental in Trial Solutions' recognized growth.
Prior to joining Trial Solutions, Brad was a co-founder of PaperChaser.com Incorporated, a litigation support software development company, and served as its Executive Vice President. As one of the visionaries behind PaperChaser’s technology development, he also provided management expertise and was active in strategic planning and developing key business relationships which lead to the company's acquisition by a large regional accounting firm. Prior to PaperChaser, Brad was the Director of Training and Customer Support at Applied Voice Recognition Inc (AVRI), a startup voice recognition technology company that went public and was later acquired by a Fortune 500 company. Prior to AVRI, Brad held numerous leadership rolls in the areas of sales, sales management and recruiting.
Brad writes the Litigation Support Industry Blog, which covers news about litigation support and e-discovery companies' funding activities, acquisitions & mergers and notable business successes. He has authored many articles on document management and litigation support issues, and has appeared as a speaker before national audiences on document management practices and solutions. Brad is an accredited CLE instructor and regularly speaks on the topics of litigation support technology. He is considered an expert in business process and strategy development and regularly consults with clients on implementing best practices in litigation document management and the impact of technology on managing discovery. He has a BBA in Marketing from Texas A&M University with extensive course work in Computer Science.
William H David III, Chief Technology Officer
Bill joined Trial Solutions is 2004 to assist with its expanding product line of litigation support software and is the principle architect of Trial Solutions' Online Review Tool that is integrated with a large-scale cluster computing system utilizing multi-terabyte storage. Bringing more than 15 years of technology development experience to Trial Solutions, Bill is responsible for product strategy, development and delivery of Trial Solutions' technology solutions. He is responsible for the company's distributive processing applications that help law firms and corporate legal departments meet their document management and data processing requirements. Providing litigation support software/tools that empower litigators of any size requires a full grasp of the technologies available to this ever changing field.
Prior to joining Trial Solutions, Bill was the Chief Technology Officer of PaperChaser.com Incorporated, where he was responsible for all phases of the company’s software development. Bill also held the positions of Director of Engineering and Senior Software Developer at Lernout & Hauspie, a Fortune 500 medical transcription company, where he was responsible for leading a team of senior developers on an enterprise wide distributive processing application. Bill also served in evaluating and assimilating an acquired company's technology (Dictaphone) and was the lead developer of a cross platform and multi processing TCP/IP job scheduling software.
Bill's computing skills and passions cover various aspects of the IT industry, including internet topography, software architecture and engineering, distributive processing, and Web 2.0 applications. He has a Computer Science Engineering degree from Arizona State University.
Charles Skamser, Vice President of Sales and Marketing
Charles brings more than 25 years of sales and marketing, channel development and executive management experience with both public and private companies in the software industry to Trial Solutions. Over the past 5 years, Charles has focused on working with entrepreneurs and early stage companies with emerging technologies that support on-demand applications for the Software as a Service (SaaS) market.
Prior to joining Trial Solutions, Charles was President and CEO of Treetop Tech, a boutique custom software development organization that specializes in building on-demand business applications. Prior to Treetop Tech, he was the President and CEO of BidQuote, a company that developed and marketed a SaaS based digital market place to enhance the procurement process for business process outsourcing (BPO). Charles currently sits on the board of directors for several SaaS companies and is active in the venture capital community advising entrepreneurs from early stage organizations.
Charles writes The
eDiscovery Paradigm Shift Blog, which is dedicated to
providing a forum to discuss evolving best practices and new
technologies that are emerging in e-discovery and computer
forensics. Charles has a BA in Political Science and Economics
from Macalaster College in St. Paul, Minnesota with graduate
work in International economics and business from the University
of Texas in Austin, Texas.
Michael Heslop, Vice President of Computer Forensics and
Electronic Discovery Services
Michael brings more than nine years experience in IT, forensics
and e-discovery project management to Trial Solutions. Michael
is a Certified Computer Examiner (CCE) and a member of the International Society of Forensic Computer Examiners (ISFCE). He is responsible for strategy, design, and implementation of e-discovery technology solutions.
Prior to joining Trial Solutions, Michael
was Manager of Forensic Processing & Data Operations for
a top tier electronic discovery company where he managed and
consulted on various client projects including forensic data
collection and analysis. In this role he designed, setup and
maintained forensic labs used in electronic discovery, including
deleted file recovery, password cracking, encrypted file recovery,
and various other forensic services.
Prior to his role in electronic discovery and computer forensics, Michael was an IT Administrator as well as an Environmental, Health and Safety (EH&S) Management Information Systems (EMIS) Consultant specializing in project management, database design, and large scale EMIS implementations. Michael has also worked in a variety of IT, database, programming, networking, and technical project management related fields.
He earned his B.S. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Washington.
Clint Lehew, Vice President of Channel Sales
In this role, Clint is responsible for growing and supporting the Trial Solutions’ Reseller Channel and ensuring their success by increasing their market presence and supporting their sales efforts.
Clint has over a decade of experience in the litigation software and support industry and brings a wealth of knowledge and consulting experience on large multi-party litigation matters and multi-city productions. His experience with multiple review platforms and the overall litigation process has proved invaluable, in assisting clients in implementing best practices for online document reviews for both paper and electronic based productions.
Prior to joining Trial Solutions, Clint was Managing Partner of Discovery Law, which was acquired by Trial Solutions in January 2007, as well as was Director of National Projects for a litigation support software development company in Houston. Clint has a Bachelors of Science degree from Sam Houston State University.
Kelvin Roquemore, Esq., Director of Legal Services
Kelvin brings to Trial Solutions over 10 years of commercial trial lawyer, electronic document review and business experience. Kelvin is responsible for running the day-to-day operations of Attorney Solutions, Trial Solutions document review attorney staffing division. He is extremely well versed on litigation document review technologies in use today, including Trial Solutions’ easy to use and intuitive ImageDepot document review software, which, according to Kelvin, “is a tremendous asset to the trial team in all phases of litigation.”
Kelvin has substantial experience with cases involving electronic document review, having worked with firms such as Dickstein Shapiro, Duane Morris, and Fulbright & Jaworski. Types of projects of which Kelvin has been involved:
- Nationwide class action brought against Dow 30 retailer
- Multi-jurisdictional litigation against national discount retailer
- Breach of software contract action brought by finance company
- Patent infringement suit brought by pharmaceutical manufacturer
- Patent infringement suit brought against $30BB bank
- Defense of S.E.C. securities claims against corporation and executives
Kelvin benefits from several years as a commercial trial lawyer at the firm Locke Liddell & Sapp LLP, where he managed several large scale document reviews and learned outstanding trial strategy and presentation skills. Kelvin also served as a judicial law clerk for the U.S. District Court in the Eastern District of Texas, home of the renowned “rocket docket”, for patent infringement cases.
Kelvin is also an accomplished businessman, having served as Chief Legal Officer for a start-up mortgage company, where he handled all of the company’s contract and legal negotiations and was an integral part of the company’s management team, helping the company grow to over $50MM in closings in less than 5 years. Kelvin graduated cum laude from Tulane Law School where he served as Editor of the Tulane Law Environmental Law Journal. He received his B.B.A. in Finance from the University of North Texas.
Sara Marciniak , Director of Trial Support Services
Sara has been a professional in the legal industry for more than 10 years. She brings to Trial Solutions, commitment, dedication, excellence and hands-on knowledge of all aspects of trial support from her previous experience, both in and out of the courtroom. She has a track record of success in providing planning and trial support in the following practice areas - Oil & Gas, Class Action, Intellectual Property, Professional Malpractice, Insurance, Construction, and Contracts.
Sara combines exceptional computer graphic skills and a mastery of presentation trial software to bring to life the reenactment of critical trial information. Sara is accomplished in managing the complexities of million-dollar trials and in selecting the best approach to present trial exhibits to present themes and issues to the jury and excels in the type of “on the fly” video editing that is so crucial during trial proceedings. Clients have described Sara as adding “exceptional value to trial presentations” and possessing “the ability to successfully manage thousands of trial exhibits, key graphics, numerous timelines, and dozens of video depositions during the trial.”
Previously, Sara worked for Decision Quest. While there, she worked in court and in the war room alongside attorneys helping create and revise presentations for expert witnesses as well as opening and closing statements. She also thrived in developing and maintaining long lasting client relationships. Sara is a native Houstonian and currently volunteers for Envision Connection and most enjoys spending time with her son.
Randall Fulenwider, Director of Operations
Randall brings more than 10 years of production and operations experience to Trial Solutions. Randall is responsible for operations management overseeing all aspects of production, quality control and project management. Randall has held increasingly responsible positions at Trial Solutions since joining the firm as its Production Manager in 2003.
Prior to joining Trial Solutions, Randall was the Production Manager for Smart Discovery, a litigation technology company, where he played an integral part in the development of their technology solutions. Randall has experience in all aspects of a service bureau’s production and operations as well as an in depth knowledge of litigation support and computer technologies.
Neal Phillips, Director of Client Services
Neal brings to Trial Solutions more than 5 years of experience in the litigation support industry. Neal is responsible for managing business operations related to client support and national project coordination and management. Neal has been an integral part of managing the company’s business process for delivering exceptional customer service. Neal’s work has focused on providing industry-leading client support and the highest standards of client service to the company’s many clients.
Prior to joining Trial Solutions, Neal was the Customer Service Manager for a successful Houston based litigation support company. Prior to entering the litigation support industry, Neal held several sales and management positions and was recognized for his leadership in the property management industry.
